About Me

Hello visitor, my name's Biko (real name Shannon) and welcome to my site. I'm 18 years old and have been using software to make electronic music for almost 9 years, ever since I was young. In the past I've used Music 200, Music Generator 2 and FL Studio for my work, now I do everything with Reason v3.0 (and with notated scores and arrangements). In 2008 I completed a Diploma in Popular Music and Performance, where I developed my skills as a piano player, studied Jazz theory and gained experience in using Pro Tools (big woop). I'm now studying for a Degree in Music as a Composition major at Monash University, which will probably continue for +3 years. My work in the past mostly consisted of techno/trance, with the majority of it being throwaways which probably won't see the light of day (yet it's fun to look back once in a while). My most recent work is a blend of ambience/slow breaks/experimental, yet I'm always trying new things so as to keep it interesting. If you'd like to get into contact, add me or email me at [email protected]
