Time Horizon

About Me

The History: A few years ago, Ralph Otteson and Dave Dickerson were in a band called Iron Clay Poets. It was a Christian Rock band that had elements of progressive rock in some of their songs. After a lot of shows and everyone asking for CD's, Ralph and Dave recorded on ADAT an album at Ralph's studio. They went to Bruce Gaetke to help them mix down their Album project. Unfortunately, Iron Clay Poets disbanded after some of the members decided to pursue other interests and the CD never made it to pressing. But as a result of mixing down the music, Bruce and Ralph began working together on other projects. Bruce enjoyed the music alot and wanted to play in a band with the progressive sound. The New Project: Dave and Ralph began working with Bruce and Steve Gourley (bass) to write the songs for the current Time Horizon project. Steve was actually visiting the States from working for a relief organization in Cambodia. After the recording sessions and has since returned to South East Asia to continues his work there. Helping with humanitarian releif effots and playing a Prog Bass cool! The band is trying to the mix last remianing songs to be included in their upcoming debut CD, Time Horizon. The release and availability is still being determined. The song Life Fantastic is also featured on the Christian Progressive Rock compilation CD volume 3 (CPR3 ). To hear the other artists featured on it go to cprogrock.com There are some very gifted artistist involved. Inside Out Recording artists: Ted Leanord and Unitopia as well as long time Christian guitarist Phill Keggyand and awsome Russian Cprog band Apple Pie are featured on it. Check it out it has received some very good reviews.
