Born and raised in New York City, Angelo Boom also known as BOOM101 had a passion for music since the age of 13. His love for music came from listening to the sounds of legendary DJ’s like Todd Terry, Louie Vega, Josh Wink, David Morales, Armand Van Helden, and Kenny Dope; just to name a few. He started playing for high schools and colleges around the New York City area. Later moving on to clubs and lounges. Living in an urban community, Boom had no choice but to play Hip-Hop, R&B, and Reggae. Not being able to play what he truly loved, Boom disappeared from the music world to pursue other dreams. Now, after 8 years, he’s back and hopes to take it to the next level (production) and show the world what house music is all about.
