A Brooklyn native, Samuel Cartel has learned the art of the Disc Jockey during unconventional and even prohibiting times at the early age of 15. While focused on his future, he came to a crossroad between a career oriented life devoted to academics and progression in his knowledge of finance, or life with a strict focus on music. Knowing the extent of his true passion, Samuel decided to go against all doubt and move toward his new goal of conquering the EDM scene.
Through team effort and daily practice, Samuel Cartel combined his efforts with twin brother Gabriel Cartel to begin their venture. Together they have formed the group the 'Cartel Brothers,' bearing a name that speaks whole-heartedly of their ambitions.
Having support from like minded artists, Boris Rush and Ercy Mirage, Samuel has embarked on a journey that he will run through with good faith and a sincere yearning for success. With no limit to where a man can go, he has set his sights on succeeding the genious minds who have inspired him to take his career to the extent he already has.
With a focus on the genres of 'tech house, 'minimal, and 'progressive house, Samuel made his first release through X-List Records; a label run by good friends and producers Boris Rush and Ercy Mirage. With strict guidance from industry respected artists, Samuel is on his way to the top to say the least.
