Still the same 'ole Shanna. I've been working too much but loving it in a way that should probably encourage me to re-evaluate my priorities. That will just have to wait. I recently moved back to the country and am remembering what I loved about it. I picked peach blossoms before heading to work. I let the dogs run in the hay field. I will be gardening within the week. I get to open all the windows to the house when a northern storm blows through (It really makes the world seem new and fresh). I am so thankful to walk through my grandma's house and be in it again. The country life really does have its perks. On the other hand, the snake skin in the laundry room has me a little concerned. Of course, mom assures me it is a chicken snake and those will eat the mice living in the back shed . . . so I guess I should be thankful? I find myself looking forward to the summer and the boat rides at sunset that come with it. All in all, I consider myself a pretty luck girl. Life is good. I still love dancing with cowboys in wooden dance halls. I still love sushi. I still miss my Flagstaff girls and the memories that come with them. I still love hangin with the brothers. I still love saltwater pools (though I am just as pleased with sunday beach). I still love orchids. I still love meeting new people and the perspectives that come with them. I consider time to be the most valuable thing that you can offer or exchange. Which brings me back the begining of this... I am really working too much.I am Shanna . . . still, and again.
