This profile is mainly updated and executed by a few huge SDS fans in Southern California (and not directly by the band themselves), and we hope to give this amazing band credit where credit is due. This profile's sole purpose is to spread the word of Shaolin Death Squad.
Shaolin Death Squad is a Texas based Theatrical, Progressive/Avant Garde Rock/Metal band (with a Chinese Martial Arts influence) and have one EP and one full length album released in 2006 titled "Intelligent Design." They also just recently opened up for Dillinger Escape Plan. If you're a fan of any of the following: Mike Patton, Mr. Bungle, Pink Floyd, Estradasphere, Danny Elfman, Frank Zappa, King Crimson, Devin Townsend, or System of a Down, then you'll probably enjoy SDS. In my personal opinion, their amazing key and tempo changes, unorthodox structural composition, and overall presentation of their sound and style is unrivaled in today's era of music.
Yes this profile is official (received the ok from the band), and yes it's brand new and shall be updated accordingly. Also, to reiterate on something, I'm not a member of the band nor a promoter doing this for a profit, I'm merely a hardcore fan who voluntarily decided to create this profile on his own free will to help SDS gain popularity.
