Starting as just a group of seven teenage boys living alone 7 Block Entertainment has been through more than their fair share of trials and tribulations to be where they are now. Throughout all of the hard times these young men have all held on to their dreams of becoming famous artists and making music in which everyone across the globe can relate and enjoy. With this dream embedded within these young men they began to work harder and harder to improve and evolve their musical abilities and set them apart form everyone. Be it producing or rapping these young men were more than willing to put in any amount of work required to make this dream come true. Hoping to one day showcase their ability to any and everyone who was interested 7 Block began advertising themselves inside the U-City loop.
Now as an independent label 7 Block Entertainment has been doing their best to match and hopefully top the sound the music industry is producing. As they stride to vary their styles and attempt to produce music for every ethnicity, they turned to Out Tha Trunk Productions for a unique brand of music. With their new members ( Tr3 (Trey), and Demo ) as well as the veterans ( Tazz-O , A.j., Que Black , and RaShine ) 7 Block Entertainment has been able produce a unique and diverse style of music that has been blowing the minds of all unexpected listeners across the globe. Covering just about every genre from Pop and R&B to gangster rap and to their own form of hip-rock, 7 Block Entertainment has been devoted to creating music their listeners will enjoy. Using venues such as The Pageant, Blackmon’s Plaza, The Spotlight, & The Poole Palace in Atlanta just to name a few, 7 Block Entertainment has always proven themselves to be a crowd favorite.
After completing two very successful mix tapes “Dat Block Music Vol. 1†& “Dat Block Music Vol. 2â€, 7 Block Entertainment feels that it is time to leave the underground scene and start shooting mainstream. Their most current project is an album in which they feel will be their most promising project yet, Welcome 2 Tha Block. The album’s main ideology is basically to welcome the world to 7 Block Entertainment and the life they lived. With major collaborations within 7 Block and the evolving sounds of Out Tha Trunk Productions and a couple of other producers this album is sure to be like none other. Lemel says “the theme of this album will be totally unique of anything to ever come out of St. Louis.†As a listener heard one of the songs for the album they speak of it being “probably the dopest track in St. Louis.†With a combination of 7 Block Entertainment’s creativity and Out Tha Trunk’s uniqueness there is no telling what this album will be like.
