The Quiddity

Quiddity: noun: 1. the quality that makes a thing what it is; the essential nature of a thing. 2. a trifling nicety of subtle distinction. The Quiddity is an experimental electronic exercise of two entities with an entreaty to entertain. One man driven by the quiddity of melodic interpretation, one man driven by the quiddity of sonic manipulation. The Quiddity is also the dream sea that hides behind the veil of reality beyond the world we know and understand. Thusly, an attempt to create soundtracks and compositions that very well could transport one to that dream sea and beyond; the shores of Ephemeris, the Metacosm, or even to the Great and Secret Show itself. This ability has garnered The Quiddity the honorary title as The Wayang Modern Shadow Puppet Theatre's official orchestra. Sometimes reserved and minimal, sometimes adventurous and grandiose, the Quiddity is exactly what it is.
