I am here for Friends

About Me

Hello I'm Jordan Lee Smith, a college student and journalist currently residing in The Steel City, Sheffield. By September 2008 I'm hoping to be university studying Journalism or running my own marginally successful telephone sanitisation business, I'm not fussy. I'm the most music-obsessed person I know and yeah my taste is generally pretty retro but you don't get the same magic in most new bands as you did with Van Halen or Rush! I think my hair combined with that could be why people always seem to think I'm a Hippie, which I'm not! Anyway I'm a musician myself, I play guitar and bass and am currently between bands, so if you're in the area, we share influences and you need a new member I'm right here! I have a pretty unique sense of humour that not everyone understands so don't feel too stupid if I said something and you were left thinking "What the fuck?" If you'd like to see a display of my journalistic skills you can do so at Anarchy Music in my own Out Of The Cellar column. Thanks!

My Interests

Playing guitar and bass, journalism, photography, going to gigs and shouting "Free Bird", bad impressions, snorting mints, freewheelin', my music and film collections, appreciating Canadian culture

I'd like to meet:

To specifically list everyone I would like to meet would be to imprison a bird that must fly free. That said I would particularly like to rendezvous with the people in my Heroes section, Jesus Christ, King Of The Jews and the guy who invented the electric pencil sharpener (Give that man a Knighthood!). Of course anyone reading this interested enough to want to talk to me in real time can do so on MSN via [email protected]
