Kaycie has been performing her all of her life. She was 7 years old when she was accepted into the Talented Theater program. Her Theater teacher, Mrs. Rita O'Sullivan noticed her voice and had her audition for Talented Music which she has been in for 4 years. Kaycie has a wide range of vocals. She has auditioned twice for and made the Honor Chorus for our parish as a Mezzo Soprano vocalist. Kaycie volunteers her time at fairs, festivals, Senior Living Centers and Retirement homes to share her gift of voice that brings happiness to others. Kaycie has performed in front of thousands of people giving even the smallest audience the same show she has given for one that had 10,000. She also loves to interact with her audiences. Kaycie has performed on Channel 4, at weddings, funerals, and with several local artists and bands and just recently at the Pearl River Fun Festival where she was a hit. Kaycie has also performed the National Anthem for UNO Baseball and Basketball games and other events. Kaycie loves being on stage and entertaining. Kaycie has performed as "Glenda" in The Wizard of Oz and "Grace" in Annie.
Kaycie's school asked her to perform "All I Want For Christmas Is You" (which has had over 12,000 views on youtube) and "Mississippi Girl" Louisiana Style so please check out her videos and music for both. Kaycie performed both in December 2007.Kaycie recently auditioned for the Louisiana Opry where she performed October 18th. She will be back at the Opry in March 2009.
Recently Kaycie had the opportunity to sing with Vince Vance at the Slidell Halloween Bash performing his original song "All I Want For Christmas Is You". Please check out the video.
