I have a beautiful daughter who is 23years old and still lives at home with us and my father lives next door and plays a very major role in our lives. We have our "other" children which is 4 dogs and a cat...lol. In 1998 I retired from law enforcement and stay at home and paint and sew and do other odd crafts when I can. God plays a major role in our lives and walks with us every day. He has brought me to where I am today in my battle of loosing weight after having gastric bypass surgery last year. I like a little bit of everything from Christian and Bluegrass to Rock and Roll and Country to Oldies and Beach Music. I really enjoy listening to my husband sing and play his guitar and mandolin. We travel around listening to Bluegrass and I have even got him to get on stage and sing. HE IS GREAT AND THEY LOVE HIM!

Heroes:

First, my father because he has always been there for me no matter how much he fusses about it and preaches while helping me. It has made me a stronger person and able to withstand a lot of life's hardships.Second, my son, Reece, whom I lost 7 years ago in a car accident at the age of 24yr.old. He taught me how to live life as if every day was your last and to always tell those you love that you love them each and every time you leave them for it may be your last. Now he's my guardian angel. I love you Reece!

Weight update

Well folks .....I have now lost a total of 76lbs weighing in at 185lbs. I have gone from a size 24 to a 14 since June 13th. Most of the time I feel good but man do I stay COLD all the time....
