Soundshack Records is an indie Records Label based out of Seattle and is owned and operated by Soundshack Entertainment Group. Our goal at SSR is to sign unique artists, record, manufacture and market them independently. Soundshack Records has introduced artists like RIVERBEND, NOVY MIR and BARIN DARNEW to the world. We helped design , fashion and jump start their career and watch them develop and mature into the musical forces they've have become . Now Soundshack Records is the home of the most extravagant talent and the most original band in the Seattle rock scene, POWER OF COMING AGE. The band has been called "Seattle's best kept secret... and the most original band since Nirvana" by The Stranger. Our main duty is to put out the very best records we are capable of releasing. Our label is growing with our artists to eventually become a multi-task production company. We at Soundshack Records intend to fill the increasingly large gap between the Major Labels and obscure, genre-oriented, Indie Labels. Through a combination of guerrilla-style strategic marketing and expedient, professional operating procedures that match those of million-dollar corporations, Soundshack Records will break all boundaries where the Majors can’t afford to take chances and the Indies won’t accept responsibility. our style of marketing is not based on pervasive commercial advertising, which has been proven not to work in this case. Word of mouth is the way we choose to sell the product, and in our case, it is extremely effective. Our fan base includes the disenfranchised, outsider who isn’t likely to buy something based on a commercial. We cannot alienate our core fans by acting as a major label. What sets us apart is that we are able to do both, if we choose. The music we are putting out is a subtle blend of Experimental hip hop/metal with a flavour of social-conscious brain. Our artists have kept their creative honesty intact, and as an independent record label, we are offering something that is if not unique, extremely rare in this business. We stay true to ourselves, and our fans. In the end, it’s all about the music.
