I'm just like everyone else, I'm just trying to enjoy life.
I'm trying to understand this whole MySpace phenomenon. Some friends got me hooked on the Friendster.com site. Then there was this site. And now there is Facebook as well. Of course I have to conform with my friends, so I'm on all three. I'm not sure I really figured out what the big deal was, however it is nice finding current friends, and reconnecting with friends from decades ago!
I'm here for friends and networking. Of course I'm always browsing for true love, but I'm not sure I believe in the internet at a great source. But you never know. If you think I have potential shoot me an email.
I love spending time outdoors. Whether it involves rock scrambling, day hiking, camping, or 4x4ing, if you want to go I will usually agree to it. I love traveling (especially driving), but I don't do it enough. Sometimes I can be accused of being too frugal at times, by not going out more. Don't judge me..., I do go out, I just don't see the point in spending absurd amounts of money on a cover and then even more absurd amounts of money on liquor at a club. On the other hand I do have expensive tastes. I like expensive beers, and I enjoy top notch meals. I like nice clothes, however I usually wear shorts and t-shirts most of the time (but they are nice shorts and t-shirts). I like spending money but I absolutely do not like being in debt. My close friends always tell me that I need to find someone that will break me out of my shell. I can be a shy guy at first contact, but once you find me in my element, everything changes.
I love spending time with friends and family. I'm not religious, but I have an open mind. I'm educated, but I'm not a brainiac. I like trying new foods and I especially like trying new beers. When I go to a restaurant I like sitting at the bar (non-gaming) rather than a table. I enjoy watching the sunrise while drinking a coffee, and watching the sunset drinking a beer. However often times it is beer for sunrises and coffee for sunsets with my odd work schedule. I'm not a sports nut, but I do enjoy seeing live sports. I just don't follow any particular team and I can't quote sport statistics.
I grew up in Champaign-Urbana, Illinois. My folks moved us to New Paltz, New York for my last two years of high school. And then I rebelled by moving as far away as I could for college in Las Vegas. Am I happy here? I'm not sure. I don't think I really wanted to live my entire life here, but it seems to be working out okay. I did move away, for three years, to Portland, Oregon. I absolutely loved it up there! I just didn't love my jobs. My last job there offered me a opportunity to transfer to their Vegas branch, and I took it as a sign. Sometimes I feel trapped here in Vegas, which I guess is why I like traveling so much. I'm sure when it is all said and done, people may say the same things about Vegas, as I do about other destinations... It's a great place to visit!

My sister has finally graduated from Medical School. Find out how she picked her specialty in this video. My parents are so proud...
One of my biggest pet peeves is people who claim to be from Las Vegas, and think that I live near the Silverton, because I say I live in Blue Diamond. That is just the road that goes to my town! Come and visit sometime..., it's not as far as you may think.
