Hi, my name is Serena Leonardi, aka Skunkat. I was born in Alessandria (in the North-West of Italy) on 17th November 1978. My passion for music and singing begins when I was just a little girl. When I was 2 y.o. I was already singing, bothering my mother and my neighbours singing for them on the balcony of my house. When I was a teenager I used to perform in Karaoke pubs just to see how it feels like singing on a stage with an audience. When I was 15 I decided to study singing with the teacher Asa Marcusson, mezzo-soprano of Basaluzzo (Alessandria) for almost 3 year. Meanwhile the idea to share my passion with other musicians started to gain ground, so in 1996 I started to experience various things such as cover bands of any type, piano bars and ballroom dancing orchestras. These experiences gave me the chance to sing any kind of music: pop, rock, national and international classics, blues. It also gave me the opportunity to sing in many pubs, music clubs, theatres and festivals without neglecting my singing studies, updating constantly and improving in the most modern techniques with the teachers Luca Jurman in Milan and many others...I am currently sing with the True Blue, Madonna rock tribute. I entertain the audience with dance moves and many changes in clothes according to the song (I want to thank my mother for my show costumes); since winter 2009 with Riby, my drummer, we create Pelle Di Luna: we offer a dance show '70/'80 and international evergreen for every occasion, parties, marriages. Riby sings and plays electro acoustic drums and percussion while I sing and dance for everybody who wants to enjoy. On March a new entry in Pelle di Luna: Davide "Dave" Pagani guitarist singer. On June we'll work for Costa Cruise. I sang on many stages like: THUNDER ROAD (Voghera, Pavia), LIVE CLUB (Trezzo d’Adda, Milan), MEPHISTO ROCK CAFÉ (Lu Monferrato, Alessandria), MILWAKEE ‘50s DINER (Varedo, Milan), The Hark Two Towler (Manchester, UK) and many others. I did more than 800 concerts and experiences in recording studios. Currently my singing and style teacher is Gianfranco Cerreto in Valenza (Alessandria), gorgeous tenor I want to thank deeply. And my modern singing teacher is Roberto Tiranti (Genoa), powerful rock voice of the Labyrinth, professional singer with many experiences and collaborations with famous artists..Great!!! I AM AVAILABLE FOR STUDIO RECORDINGS. I would also like to thank my hero: Diego Cossu, my adorable vocal cords doctor, tenor in activity, who helps me. And finally I want to thank all of the people who believed and believe in me, and I hope I will never turn you down!
