"All I know is that this guys has some OH MY LORD chops. From the first second of this CD your senses are annhilated with the ferocious speed of Pete's playing." Nick of the The Shred Zone Web Site said . " Rapid fire picking. Machine-gun axework. Jackhammer guitar lines. No other CD submitted for review here has been done in quite this style- a trademark of the Wilkinson sound is furiously picked shred run." Guitar Nine Web Site stated. I've been playing the guitar for 45 years now and have played heavy metal music since the 1970s. I've played the Hollywood club scene back in the 1980s when metal was huge in L.A. I got to know and become close friends with the late Randy Rhoads, and I'll be featured in the Randy Rhoads documentary film slated to be released later this year discussing Randy's early years. I knew Randy from 1965 to 1982. At Randy's funeral, Jody (Randy's girlfriend) told me that I was the best fellow guitarist he ever played with. We were like brothers.I'm not trying to brag, I just saying that Randy had other close friends too, that's all. I play BOTH fretted, and fretless guitars. I've recorded a few instrumental shred guitar CDs over the years, and have taught guitar over 20 years now. Right now I'm learning to sing operatically at Musonia Music School being taught by Kelle Rhoads. I want to be a much better singer than I was in the 1970s. I speciallity is doing harmony vocals, as well as lead. I've been interviewed on the Webzines, Guitar 9, Guitar Mania, The Shredzone, and others.

Heavy Metal Music is still alive and waiting to be heard
Why is it that Heavy Metal Music is being ignored in the US? How come most of today's kids want to listen to such nonsense as Hippitty Hop, and Alternative? It's because it's CHEAP to produce, and kid... Posted by on Fri, 29 Aug 2008 01:57:00 GMT
