53 ( Five THree ) originated in Tampa, Fl. and the members of the group are Willie ( W.W.III ) Weems III and Michael ( Trigga MIke ) Turner. The name 53 stands for Fifth Largest Planet Third From The Sun which represents the Earth. The group's music style is classified as Southern Hip-Hop that has a unique flare. Some of 53's many accomplishments include opening acts for Ludacris, Cisco, Tyrese, Jodeci, Next, Craig Mack, Canibus and Busta Rhymes. 53 was also the first local Hip-Hop group featured in several commercials, the 1rst was for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the 2nd was for Fox 13 which was aired in Tampa Bay. The commercials resulted in receiving the Telly, Monument, and Emmy Awards. Throughout 53's development, they have been exposed to established industry professionals with the help of manager Rosaline Elliott (Members Only Productions). These include: Donna Allen, A Few Good Men,Butta, T.L.C, A.J Alexander, Usher, Playa Poncho and Lil John and The Eastside Boyz just to name a few. 53 has long awaited its time for national exposure.
