Dj Carlos Blanco

Born in Barcelona in 1975, he has been influenced since his early years by his family own business, a music bar currently called Gothic in Sant Feliu de Llobregat in Barcelona.He was already playing music when the business opened in 1981: funky, disco music, etc. It has been a business of reference in the Baix Llobregat area since its opening. . He started working as a DJ in 1992 and he already began to create his very own first mixes with the best music of the moment: house, disco, techno and funky music. In 1994 he started to move around the best clubs of Barcelona. His best friend, DJ Iñaki, was resident in one of them, called Heyday, and he sometimes shared the music booth with him. In the year 2000 he decided to leave the music bar and began to give a new direction to his professional career. He started working for the Virus group, playing for parties in places such as: Chic Molins, Vous Voulez, Utopia, Sitges, Tafino, etc. In 2004 he shared music booth once with DJ Jobani in Salvation, club of reference, and also in Lupos, where he became the resident DJ. In 2005 he started as a resident DJ together with Jojo Sanmartín in Dietrich, place of reference for the gay community in Barcelona. He has also worked in Zeltas and Kiut, two hotest clubs of Barcelona, in different occasions. He has recently been resident DJ in Torres de Ávila discotheque, where he has shared booth with DJ Jobani, DJ Iñaki, DJ Chus Soler, DJ Ramón Egea, DJ Marc Tedde, DJ José Franco, DJ Iván Escura and DJ Willy Sanjuan among others. He has also shared booth with DJ Jobani in Merci, after hours of reference, in different occasions, and has also played in the White Box of Souvenir, the after hours discotheque, where DJ Flavio normally plays, more than once. He currently spends his time creating music with DJ Iñaki and DJ Dante.
