Not in any particular order: animals, intimacy, spirituality, World of Warcraft, motorcycles, camping, dancing, live music, good friends, good conversation, kissing, writing, reading, watching movies, photography, more dancing and kissing, learning new things.
...people who can think and appreciate others who can as well; people who don't need to control everything around them constantly (sometimes is okay but not all day every day!); people who are uplifting and kind and who aren't afraid to have fun; people who understand that I have many sides to my personality and that I won't fit in any of the boxes; people who aren't afraid of criticisism and actually like helping others grow. If you're gonna hang in my world, you need to love animals and people.
Love southern and classic rock...will get more creative with this space later...When I die, remember to play ~Freebird~ for me!
Watch the Secret! Well, my favorites are the Braveheart, Rob Roy types, regular guy fighting for life, liberty and the pursuit of the unacknowledged right to happiness. And I love all the Conspiracy Theory types - yeah, Mel Gibson's mentioned twice - not for his great bum, but for his great choice in production. Everyone's gotta see What the Bleep Do We Know and The Secret if you want to understand how I view the world. And then there's always the Harold and Maude cult flicks! I collect DVDs and I'm always up for seeing a new movie! Off the Map this week - they live like I want to...what's your favorite?
Boring, but if I watch, it's: Law and Order; Judging Amy; ER; Friends; don't watch much tv anymore ~ too many other things outside...I'll always watch stand up comedy if someone has it on!
Lord of the Rings was my first true love - read it several times as a child. Later: All Richard Bach books - he's my favorite...very simple, but hit's the soul. People just starting to read, also: Way of the Peaceful Warrior and Celestine Prophecy series (note the spritual theme). Actually, I read everything from Dean Koontz to Biographies. There is always a stack on my nightstand. I'm a typical Aries, so ~favorite~ is a hard choice...it depends on my mood.
Can't think of any real life heroes you would know at the time of this writing - will have to come back to that...right now it's more like any single women struggling to raise their families; homeless people standing in line for bread and canned goods, asking for a job; lawyers who do pro bono because they believe in the law...everyday people making choices. And I love firemen but not because everyone else does.
