RONNIE RAZOR

RONNIE RAZOR ~ guitarist/singer/songwriter Atlanta rocker. His rock & roll road began in Atlanta, Georgia 1974 with the rise & fall of THE RAZOR BOYS - RONNIE RAZOR with Dee Minor on bass joined forces with drummer Freddi Griffin and Keith Atchenson on guitar in a short lived YOUNG TIGERS ... a band doomed to misfortune. Ronnie,Dee & Freddi regrouped later as THE AGENTS to rock 688 & the Agora rock club. Recording sessions in Atlanta area studios produced 'BABY THIS BABY THAT' which went into heavy rotation on WRAS a college radio fav....the band went into hiatus after a year or so. Drummer Danny Combs joined THE RAZORS to perform at 688 & TV Dinners and studio work produced 'PRETTY LIES.' Rodney Chandler took on the drums for more shows at the METROPLEX and the WHITE DOT & the SOLAR ECLIPSE at Central City Park in Atlanta 1984. 1983 RONNIE RAZOR independant 45rpm record 'PSYCHOLOGICIAL VAMPIRE' featuring 'BABY THIS BABY THAT' & 'PRETTY LIES' placed in local record stores Wuxtry Records & Wax & Facts.. THE RAZORS went into haitus later that year. Ronnie joined Tony Lister / Mitch Sosebee & Dee Minor in MURDERER'S HOLIDAY 1986-1987. Mitch Sosebee played on for RONNIE RAZOR @ CLUB RIO show as Rodney Chandler returned in 1988. A recording session produced RONNIE RAZOR: 3 STUDIO CUTS slated for an independent EP and RONNIE RAZOR ... Ronnie,Dee & Rodney relocated to Hollywood , California playing shows @ The Troubadour / Madam Wongs West / Coconut Teasers / Rajis / The Shamrock / The Gaslight in Hollywood / The Central on Sunset / FM Station / The Waters Club in San Pedro ... 'SEVERED HEAD' / 'BABY BLEEDER' / 'THE KISS OF DEATH' recieving air play on KNAC -FM. LA drummer Gary Jellison & background singers Laural & Jessica Razor joined : RONNIE RAZOR & THE RAZORETTES. ...more Hollywood club dates and film performance in Hollywood underground music video 'ZATAR'S UFO ROCK & ROLL PARTY SHOW'. The last RONNIE RAZOR performance was at The Troubadour late 1989 and was captured live on video.
