Vote for Galvanization @ The DJ List!..
DJ Galvanization was spawned one dark, stormy night. The Gods of Trance decided..."Behold, oblivion is at hand!", and through their powers came this man, this rising star, known to his friends and mortals as 'DJ Galvanization'.
DJ Galvanization [Henceforth referred to as Galvan] got his starts in music early on, dabbling in classical piano. It was in his teens that he was given "Korg", an affectionate name for the instrument that would add the -ization to Galvan. Through this synthesizer and hours upon hours of practice, Galvan became intimate with the workings of the keyboard up to the point where the synth was part of his body.
Time passed, and during the dusk of Galvan's junior year, he met a few people, the surviving members of ''Spiral Towards Oblivion''. Through the efforts of Leo (Lead guitar and frontman), Hugo (Vocals and Writer), Luis S. (Second guitar, backup vocals) and Daniel (Drums), DJ Galvan was absorbed into the band, which was then reborn as 5 Days From Friday.
As the time for the first live performance of the band, numerous setbacks kept on plaguing the band. Retreats, missionary trips, school, time constraints all took a heavy toll on the band. But they persevered. As the date of the first live performance drew nearer, the band decided to take a gamble and forfeit the talent show. However, through the collective innovation of the band and their close friends, DJ Galvan was pushed to play solo at the talent show.
After weeks of preparation, the song, titled 'Moment of Lucidity' was recorded and accepted for the performance. The video above is what started it all. It was the birth of DJ Galvanization.
Needless to say, its catchy beats and rollercoaster of power left the people with their mouths wide open as their feet involuntarily stood them up and made them jump around.
DJ Galvanization is currently a Junior at Texas A&M University majoring in Nuclear Engineering. He has made his degree plan a priority, however, does not neglect his passion for music. Life in college naturally slows the music process, but slow and steady wins the race.
The future is uncertain for 5 Days From Friday and DJ Galvanization. But true to its word, wherever he is, there is no more United States.
It is Galvanization Nation.
