Far cross that long free way stretched out further every step you made well crossing paths with an old accomplice but the subject it sept then as it still taunts us whatever happened there to long toed Lou, dissapeared one evening and nobody ever new this day it still sits to freighten me what a raffle of affairs this life can be, probably got messed up with the wrong heap and crowd yet I'd never take another mans life and that I'dve vowed, the likelihood of the next shot that we got better be for something further on out the parking lot, well the skies crossed high the light got dim we reeled out the wagon and thats when it began 'llnow bout a mile down the road or maybe two we spotted a hitchhiker on the road just like happened to be Lou well had a black eye one leg and a harmonica too he said well I aint been doing so well looks like I lost my shoe and I can't to seem to find my rhythm as he hollared a grombling face, he started to get antsy and drew himself a pipe puffed away that gray hound bus as tho it had granted him very life well his eyes gan to run reddy and he said straight face "I can't remember my name and I've forgotten where I live" followed by a tossing moan and a quiver to the cry he fell back on his head and ..i thought he might o've died could he be alright i asked dearranged madness it all seems quite as i passed Old one legged lou if he'd like my hankerchief but he pussed and vommited right out the side as he burst out into laughter than adbruptly subsided thats when I told him "it's the end of the ride" that was the last i saw of lou but i've come to believe that he was eaten by a bear in the wilderness although chances are slim of survival where we left him yet the stench was far too awful and the fumes were running low in are gas tank so what were we to do yet ..i think he made it off with one of my old running shoes so good luck to lou without further a do hopfully who will learn not to two time a blue...
