About Me

Just in case you are interested....... Here is a review of "Rock The Hell Out of Rock 'n Roll".Dude, wheres my gold record? This uplifting, all-to-brief EP by post-grunge powerhouse North To Emerson is a refreshing, sonic tsunami of blaring guitars, vibrant rhythmic patterns, and classic popsong-craft. Gus, Adam, Footer and Chris (they only reveal their first names) bring a beefy sense of melodic know-how to their streetwise hard rock aesthetic on this go-for-broke, turn-it-up-to-eleven debut. Akin to rock n rollers from Elvis to the present day, its the opposite sex that provides NTE with their artistic foil. They fall in love with babes that they cant possibly score(Girl). They power chord their way through a broken heart (Dollar). They wait patiently for the girl to get her act together (For You). They eventually give in to the girl for sex (Yes Dear). And finally, they come to the wise conclusion that men will never understand women no matterhow many times they pour over Men Are From Mars (What Were In For). Should they attain the commercial success they so richly deserve, the girls will come crawling. In the meantime, they reverently Rock the Hell Out of Rock n Roll.-TOM SEMIOLI -Amplifier Magazinewww.northtoemerson.com [email protected] Us What You Think!!!!! Messengers--- MSN: northtoemerson Yahoo: northtoemersonrocksNorth To Emerson has successfully released two albums. The bands sophomore album, Rock The Hell Out of Rock n Roll has received national airplay, and much interest from well respected industry representatives leading to several future showcases in the late months of 2004.The band feeds off of its live shows, which can be described as polished, comically entertaining, and highly energetic. This impressive live show has given the band the opportunity to tour, and keep solid schedules sharing bills with bands such as Revis, Atmosphere, Army of Freshmen, The Hunns, Beerzone (UK), Forget McCarran, Sons of Poseidon, Damaged Goods, Ten Times A Day, and many, many more. Countless contacts have been made and have even led to members Adam and Footer hitting the road with New Found Glory, Good Charlotte, and Less Than Jake as a guest performer on the 2003 Honda Civic Tour."Rock The Hell out of Rock 'n Roll" has been well recieved by the industry and media. We have been getting air time on MTV. We are being played for the upcoming season of MADE. We are pretty excited about this, along with other publishing we are doing.NOW ON XM SATELLITE RADIO!!!
