Sightless Threat started off as Todays Awakening, a project that Chris was playing around with. After hearing some of the material he had written, Luisa immediately jumped on board. The two were good friends before the band, but had never really jammed before that point. They began playing almost every day for a couple months to try to get to know each other's style. They also ended up writing some basic material together, which later became the major structure of one of their best songs today! At first, they're methods didn't really match up, since they both had came from two almost entirely different bands. So, after taking a break for almost a year, they decided to start the band all over. They both managed to write one great song almost instantly after rejoining; they now understood each other's style. Then the search for the bassist began. Bob was the only bassist that they tried out, but just by jamming with him a few times and being impressed with his skill and style, they knew that he was perfect for the job. Shortly after officially joining the band, Bob quickly learned the material and the three dove right into writing new songs! The band now needed a voice. They tried out several great vocalists, but their voices were just not what they were looking for. In an attempt to help out, Wolfy, then residing in a small town in Oregon, decided to record some sample vocals to one of the songs to show people what they were looking for. The vocals came out and matched the music so well, that Wolfy soon after had a one way ticket to Florida. The name Todays Awakening was then changed to Sightless Threat to mark the true beginning of the struggle and good times to come...
We've got a few songs down and a ton more in the works. Right now we're writing songs and perfecting recording with what we've got, so expect new ones up really soon!
