My name is Melina Nava Perez. But, you can call me Mel or whatever you want.(: I was born on the 9th of March, 1979. I have one brother named... PJ. I am bilingual. I can speak Spanish fluently. My favorite food is ice cream. I love all my fans!! I love being me!! I am self-centered & confident all the time. I am determined & ready for anything. I have done modeling ads for Nike. My former alias, Kyra, was the sister of Desire (Shelly Martinez/Ariel) while we feuded in EWF. I was on the casting special of Tough Enough 3, but was cut when the field was narrowed to 13. I had a tryout match for the WWE with Molly Holly in late 2003 in the hours before RAW. I was signed by the WWE to a developmental contact in early January 2004. I debuted in OVW on March 20th, 2004. My WWE character was hired by one-night GM Randy Orton on November 29, 2004 (RAW). Johnny Nitro, Joey Mercury, & I (MNM) made our WWE SmackDown debut on April 14th, 2005. I am a WWE Diva!! I am currently on the "SmackDown Brand". I was first trained to wrestle by Jesse Hernandez at his "School of Hard Knocks". I was approached to try pro wrestling by family friend, Mike Henderson. I won my first-ever WWE in-ring debut match by defeating Michelle McCool on June 30th, 2005. I am very close with Rey Mysterio && Eddie Guerrero's childen. My favorite band is "No Doubt". I love to design & make my own attires. I am Mick Foley's "all-time favorite bad girl on television". I'm here to express myself,♥ Diva!(: ... in the dictionary, the definition of a Diva is: a distinguished female singer; prima donna. Now it can also be said that a Diva is a distinguished WWE female Superstar. Some use the term Diva in a negative way ... like when they use it on me. People call me a Diva because they see me as a temperamental, impatient, and conceited woman. Say what you will but, I am a True Diva in every sense of the word. What makes me a True Diva?, unlike the other so-called wannabe Divas in WWE? Well, let me tell you. Creativity. Poise. Always evolving & staying true to myself. I have IT. I am the IT DIVA on the scene. Yes, I do need my proper spotlight! Don't hate me, LOVE me. I am a striking woman who is strong, independent, talented, and will not settle for less than my worth. When I enter a room, you will notice me. Being the True Diva that I am, women hate me & men love me. With that said, whether you love me or hate me, you can't help but, watch me. Please! To tell me I am temperamental, impatient and conceited is an ignorant comment to make. You don't know me. You don't know my life, where I've been, what I've seen or what I've gone through. I feel strongly about what I believe in. When someone does something blatantly stupid should I just put up with it? I'm sorry if I'm passionate about life & what I believe in, but there are certain things I will not put up with. Why is being proud of what I can do and what I've accomplished considered being conceited? Call me a prima donna? I just don’t settle for less, I get what I want the way I want.
My life on RAW, was so awesome!! It was an adventure that I will never forget. All my battles, matches, & hard work have payed off. I have my time making new friends, knowing that RAW is still my home!! I always make new friends, it's called being a "Friend Or Foe". There are alot of things that I have learned from many wonderful WWE SuperStars!! Haha XD. I give it all I got out there in the ring, blood, sweat, tear, everything that I have gained, I give it all away when I'm in that ring!! Now that's what being a "DIVA" is all about, isn't it? The most important thing in my life so far is... my WWE Women's Championship!! I love my belt, who ever messes with me or ever gets a title shot, I will really put up a fight because I love my belt, & I don't want to lose it right away. Let me tell you what I am again, not a pretty-face, nor just some champion, but a hard working, hot, sexy DIVA!! :]
