Fair Trade Crusade

I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

My name is Ben LaValley. I have started this myspace page to help raise awareness, discuss, and promote fair trade products as well as other products that have not yet benefited from being labeled as fair trade (tobacco). Please feel free to contact me [email protected] .
I am looking for people interested in writing articles, comments and sharing ideas about fair-trade. Please visit www.fairtradecrusade.org and help stamp out the social injustice being carried out through-out the world on a daily basis.

Fair trade is an organized social movement and market-based approach to alleviating global poverty and promoting sustainability. The movement advocates the payment of a fair price as well as social and environmental standards in areas related to the production of a wide variety of goods. It focuses in particular on exports from developing countries to developed countries, most notably handicrafts, coffee, cocoa, sugar, tea, bananas, honey, cotton, wine, fresh fruit, and so forth.
