Ok Deadman

About Me

Ok Deadman was formed in the summer of 2008 by long time musical cohorts Jacob Cordingley (guitar/vocals) and Benjamin Hunter (guitar) and a couple of guys they met on the internet Ed Kibblewhite (bass) and Lee Corfeild (drums). Lee left the band soon after and was replaced by Paul Waters, who himself left in February 2009.
Despite their early teething problems, Ok Deadman are an exciting and dynamic band who combine their desire to experiment with sound, their love of everything from heavy rock to Britpop, the neurotic worldview of songwriter Jacob Cordingley and their weakness for a catchy pop song to create a musical experience that is entirely unique.
In March 2009, they added the cello skills of Leanne Ayres to further enhance their often orchestral sound. They will shortly announce who is to be their next (and hopefully last) drummer.
Having overcome some tricky hurdles they debuted with a couple of gigs in early 2009. They are currently recording and producing a five track demo EP which they will make available for free download later this year.
