i've decided that it was time for me to actually own up to who I am on this MySpace thingy. My name is Deangelo G. McCoy born in Charleston, South Carolina and now living in Daytona Beach, Florida. I've lived here in florida going on 5 years now and will stay until the good Lawd says otherwise. ..
I am a lover of a whole lot and a "hater" of NONE!! Don't ever think I want what you have because I don't want the HELL that came with you getting what it is that you do possess. I've learned quickly to just sit back and let God handle my problems for me, I'll do what I can and then stand back and be amazed EVERY TIME!!. I am a musical product. I love music, the texture, the taste the sound, the smell the feel, the touch; it satisfies me when no one else can and when inspired from God I dabble in a little songwrtiting, singing, playing (piano), all the while not doing it for anyone but God.
I've been graced with the oppurtunity to be apart of some wonderful music ministries here in Daytona, the first being PrayzGeneration Music Department @ Calvary Christian Center of Ormond Beach under the past musical leadership of Trent & Keisha Cory, and now under the direction of Mark & Gina Groover. I interned there in the summer of 05 which led to me being a choir director there for about 2 1/2 total (2005-2008). Had alot of ministring oppurtunities singing on different dates with with Martha Munizzi, Judy Jacobs,Donnie McClurkin (Campmeeting 2005) and other guests who shared a platform with the choir.
Those years prepared me to step out on faith and follow the voice of the Lord in forming "Simply Connection" a powerful group of ministers who are joined together by the passion in their hearts for music and ministry. A little over one (1) year old "Simply Connection" has been able to travel to various places proclaiming the Name of the Lord, setting atmospheres for His presence to come and sweep over a place. We are now in preparation for our fall concert Spirit & Truth v.1.0 : "Live praise, Real worship" I'm extremely excited for what God is going to do and what He is already doing in our group. I have the pleasure of serving with some beautiful women. Stefanie Barcenas, Nakeaya Jacobs, Kimberly Sigler and Amina Milam. They are some THE best people I could ask for. In God's time He'll send more, but for right now, We handlin business, ya heard!!
This brings us to present day ME, keeping in mind that I have left out some other key points, but hey sue me!! On March 6th, 2008 I followed what the Lord had spoken to me, and left Calvary Christian Center and took on the position of Music Ministry Leader at New Way Christian Fellowship where the Pastors are Rich and Kimberly Summerlin in Palm Coast, Florida. With new beginnings comes different anointings and different ways of seeing, knowing and experiencing things. This transition has proven to be one of MONUMENTAL proportion in my life right now. Speaking and working my faith and learning, understanding and teaching the principles of God, spoken in His Word are the main points that I'm learning right now and I Thank and Bless God for the oppurtunity to be directly where I am right now!
