Maxilla Blue

About Me

Maxilla Blue is a sliver of negative space in a burner painted between the walls of reality. This particular hue is said only to exist in that environment. The Beat-n-Path Vol I. is the soundtrack to the wind currents produced within these walls and the bluish tinge that stains their trail as they travel.Maxilla Blue’s: The Beat-n-Path Vol 1. began as a two part concept consisting SPECIFICALLY of Aeon Grey’s production and the words and thoughts of Asphate Woodhavet, (also known as Skatterbrayne at the time of conception). Later, a third component, Dj TouchNice was added to complete circuitry. Without any of the original components, the work would not be Maxilla Blue. This would also hold true if any components were added. Very particular ingredients are required to create certain poisons. It was agreed upon that the album would be partially instrumental, yet beyond that would have no set rules for structure, song length, format, content, etc., allowing for a true “journey of sound,” which enables the listener to interpret the chapters for themselves. Maxilla’s work is an invitation to the audience to think freely, and not to be told what they are listening to, but rather, to decide for themselves.***** The debut album, "The Beat-n-Path Vol 1" is available now at various stores in Des Moines including ZZZ Records & Hip Hop Heaven.
