Industrious Music

Ind(ie)ustrious Music is a small music, media, and booking company that caters to a grossly underreprestented genre in the music world: women in indie music. Founded by Kimberly Barnes, Ind(ie)ustrious Music will soon be open for submissions from female artists who belive they have reached a place in their musical career where they need assistance with touring and marketing. Kimberly has over 12 years of experience in all aspects of the music business, and along with a small staff will provide assorted services to selected artists at an affordable rate. We realize that you are "indie," which is usually synonymous with "low budget." We want to work with you to pair you with the services that will best help your career. Ind(ie)ustrious realizes that most musicians are flooded with offers for the above services. However, most providers do not work with a specialized niche and are therefore unable to market your music effectively. Ind(ie)ustrious specializes in LGBT identified female musicians and LGBT friendly female musicians. We strive to place you in venues where your music will be appreciated and you will feel comfortable. We contact media that is interested in your music, rather than blitzing the wrong press with your information. We believe in quality and NOT quantity, and will work with you to help you reach your goals.

Please realize that this is a small company, and we can therefore only take on a few artists at a time. By doing so, we will be able to devote ourselves completely to those we do work with to best help their careers.
