Save Our Angels!

Personally, I grew up w/ Doberman Pinschers since I was a child, but in 2003, a friend of mine gave me a handsome, American Bull Dog/Pit Bull Mix 3 month old pup named Rosco. He was short and stocky, all muscle...but also, all heart. He protected my son from the day he came home from the hospital. Rosco was an amazing dog. Because he needed more room then we had at the time, he moved out to the family acreage (at 2 yrs old) where he was free to roam, and spend his days with the horses and two other dogs on the farm. In 2005, Rosco's body was found not far from the home, with a gun shot wound in his chest. Rosco did not survive.
Rosco changed my whole world around. He will never been forgotten...and he will always be missed. (RIP)
We are now the proud parents of two rescued pit bulls, Boo and Tinkerbell. We just recently adopted a little boy named Dorito. A 1 yr old rotweiler/ pit bull mix. He wasn't answering to Dorito so we started trying out different names, and he answers to Teddy. So Teddy it is!We are dedicated to educating people about the bully breeds, especially after the descrimination our dogs have come across. We have a 5 year old son that swears we need to rescue every single dog in the world. His dogs are his best friends. :) So, we have yet to come accross a rescue and readoption agency in Iowa specifically for Pit Bulls....it is our goal to begin work on exactly that, on a piece of land outside Waterloo within the next 2 years.
