Welcome to ATcycles, We design and manufacture 150mpg moto-hybrids with an eye catching retro style. It is the goal of our company to create an alternate form of transportation to help cut down on the high cost of gas in a must have package that is a blast to ride. Although most everyone will still own a car as primary transportation, we provide an alternate transportation option. Hence the name ATcycles, short for Alternate Transportation Cycles. Our moto-hybrids are motorized bicycles that can still be ridden as a standard bicycle with the engine off, then just let the spring locking clutch out and ride via engine power, the pedals can remain stationary like a motorcycle or you can pedal along with the engine. There is no pull, kick or electric start, the motion of the bike auto starts the engine. Pull in the clutch, push the kill switch and ride as a conventional bicycle again. Its all done on the fly. The comfortable cruiser style frame and large balloon tires make for a very smooth and fun ride. At around 50 pounds, they are very light compared to motorcycles and scooters to facilitate car and RV hauling to extend the use of your new alternate transportation option. The uses are many, from work commute to grocery getter, to racing and riding clubs popping up around the country. Our primary focus is on the work commute, grocery getter option so we are well stocked with racks and panniers for hauling, lights for night riding, fenders for wet weather, horns and mirrors for traffic safety, even computers and GPS mounts for guidance.
