Born in 77, had a standard childhood(riding bikes, fishing, building forts, playing street football till the lights come on, playing I'll show you mine if you show me yours, going to school, hating homework, barely passing, getting woopins,you know normal stuff.
I have always this weird good sense of character. I just know if someone is genuinely good. I always think my Aunt Gina watches over me, and keeps me going in the direction I need, but she let's me stray a little eventually I always come back. I've done alot and been alot places during my stay on earth. I joined the Army in 96 and went to Germany. There are so many stories it's ridiculous, I was a lifeguard, I rodeoed, played music, and in my spare time I was in an Air Defense unit. After Europe, I was sent to Kansas. Started a band called "Fairbaine". Kansas was the end of my army days.
Home was calling me, Gulf Shores is where I went. Like I always do, I find guys to jam with and we started Phat Trucker Band the worst cover band on the beach. We would practice(party) upstairs at Blonde Johns Surf shop. Man those were the days! Hurricane Ivan single handedly destroyed everything down there, so we packed up and moved to Birmingham, changed the name to Artificial Joy and did our best to be a good band. We played alot, got better and even went on tour with Young Agent Jones. In 06 we stopped playing. At the time it was a relief not to deal with the bs anymore. Now I am a little angry that one persons selfishness could effect two other lives. Left Birmingham in 08 with mixed emotions, I love downtown life, the people, the atmosphere everything. I also love the beach, near home, friends, surfing ,a good margarita and just relaxing for once. I need to right a book about everything that I've gone through. Not sure if people would read it, but that would give me some self therapy.
