I started drawing at about the age of 3. Nothing special there, although I suspect I began drawing as a form of communication because I was never good at talking.
My influences are hard to pin-down, but it's safe to say that as a child the Beano was a major contributing force to my style. In recent years I've steered clear of all the big trends in illustration, by simply not doing any of my own. I took time out to try my hand at music but found it to be ultimatly unrewarding.
My biggest character/creation is 'Biggins', who features throughout this MySpace. I created him when i was 13 in 1996 and I've kept him going ever since. My output doesn't end with him however, and I continue to push into other areas.
All pictures on this site are hand-drawn on A4 paper. A lot of them have been coloured-in on computer afterwards, but the important parts are 'organic'.
