Charley Giddings

About Me

Charley started learning to play musical instruments at the tender age of 4, having been sprung by her Dad playing the keyboards upon his return home from work. She was offered lessons, and went on to perform her first concert (the music school's Christmas Concert) at 6. Bitten by the bug (and the fact that she won something!), she went on to play keyboard festivals across the UK from the age of 14, gaining a solid reputation as a perfomer.
After a short break from the road, Charley was encouraged to pick up the bass and took to it quickly. With nagging words such as "you could really be quite good if you try" and so on, she has taken heed of this advice and gone on to develop her skills.
Currently playing for The Lockup (and taking a slide sideways turn from her normal rocky edge!), Charley's back in the studio this year recording some new solo tracks with some of the Souths hottest musicians, so more tracks will be uploaded soon.
For the while, enjoy some previous recordings from the past few years.
