Crysalys...el nombre es inspirado en la unión de dos palabras...cry de lamento o llanto y lys palabra noruega que significa luz...Crysalys es una nueva y prometedora banda italiana de metal , formada en Porto S. Elpidio, Italia, en otoño del 2004,un concepto de Doomtrain y Dusk.La banda denomina su música como "MELODICORE", manteniendo una combinación de diferentes tipos de metal, pero con un sonido más poderoso que el nuevo metalcore americano, inspirado en bandas como: Killswitch Engage,Caliban,Lamb Of God)with some Swedish Melodic Death Metal's feathering in style of Dark Tranquillity,Amaran y muchos más...con la melodiosa y poderosa voz de la soprano dramática Dusk.Renacen despues de su primer demo "SEASON OF SUFFERING"(2005/2006 ), dando lugar a dos nuevos guitarristas (lugares anteriores de Massimiliano Camela and Nicola Farina) Mario Brillarelli and Giampaolo Squadroni.En diciembre del 2007 sale el nuevo EP titulado "White Lotus On Acheron'Shores". La banda esta compuesta por la bellisima Chiara Malvestiti "Dusk" on vocals (soprano dramática),Mario Brillarelli "Voivoda" y Giampaolo Squadroni "Diurno" en las guitarras,Matteo D'Ottavio "The Dwarf" en el bajo y Alessando Camela "Doomtrain" en las percusiones.Actualmente Crysalys promete un nuevo EP,que saldrá en el 2009. CRYSALYS(the name is ispired by the Chrysalis and the union between the english word CRY and the norwegian word LYS that means "light")is a new and promising italian female metal band, formed in Porto S.Elpidio, Italy in Fall 2004, from a concept of Doomtrain and Dusk.The band called its music style "MELODICORE",keeping on mixing different kinds of metal, but with a more powerful sounds like the modern american Metalcore (inspired by bands like Killswitch Engage,Caliban,Lamb Of God)with some Swedish Melodic Death Metal's feathering in style of Dark Tranquillity,Amaran and many more,with the dramatic soprano voice and powerfull clean vocals of Dusk. Reborn after the release of their first demo called "SEASON OF SUFFERING"(2005/2006 homemade)and the split with both ex-guitarists Massimiliano Camela and Nicola Farina , with two new members Mario Brillarelli and Giampaolo Squadroni on the axes, are back on work,improving their sound and writing new songs. On December 2007 the new lucky Ep "White Lotus On Acheron'Shores" is out,recorded at B-Side Studios and receives many good reviews from international critical and some interesting foreign and italian interviews.The band is composed by Chiara Malvestiti "Dusk" on vocals,Mario Brillarelli "Voivoda" and Giampaolo Squadroni"Diurno" on guitars,Matteo D'Ottavio "The Dwarf" on bass and Alessando Camela "Doomtrain" on drums.Actually Crysalys are promoting their Ep and writing new songs for the new full lenght,that will be out on 2009.
