Jessica Stam was born in Kincardine, Ontario in Canada on April 23, 1986. She was discovered in a coffee shop on the way home from an amusement park. In 2002 she won the Los Angeles Model Look Search, and photographer, Steven Meisel, cast her in every ad campaign of his. Her career took off when she was on the cover of UK and German Vogue. She has appeared in a number of ads for everyone from Marc Jacobs to DKNY. She continues to rock countless runways! She walks for Victoria's Secret, Miss Sixty, and just about every major fashion designer! She is one of the elite and versatile models from the 2004/2005 fashion season. She did really good ad campaigns for Dior and DKNY in 2007. This year Gemma Ward, Lily Donaldson, and Jessica Stam shot an excellent ad for Dolce and Gabbana!
