Soul n Movement

About Me

For those of you who would like to know a little bit more about our history... At the end of 2006 there were three guys who joined together in what we call today as Soul n Movement – RUDice, dj Timm and dj Armandd Keraynn, last one had to be replaced after a while because of lack of US house scene understandings. So he was swaped with a newcomer to Latvian dj scene Junior High somewhere in the middle of 2007. We had a lot of great and joyful parties all around the country, where playing at some main local festivals, cooperated with other house music dj unities and producers, and so on.... If you want to know the details you may always check Events or Picture Gallery on this site.As you probably noticed by the look at the events list we have been realy busy with this kind-of-underground house music stuff delivering it to the people who probably had forgotten that there is something more than only this radio song dancing thing what is usually called as Pop music. So our local promoters were glad to see us again and again with some lovely and unusual records on the turntables being played at different kind and style night clubs. By the time passing dj Timm has started his own business with all the other stuff you may need for your party – wires, lights, speakers etc. All that stuff for rent you may find at www.snm.lv. So he has paused his dj’ing and is gone in businessing.Let’s get to what you may hear today. Soul n Movement nowadays is a dj duo of RUDice and Junior High – two guys who mostly represent Chicago style house music with all the wonderful breaks and melodies mixed with delicious beats of West Coast. Of course, if we do play separetly our own styles may vary – Junior High is more a fan of dj Sneak, Bryan Jones, Natural Rhythm etc so you may feel more basslines and filtered house music at the party when he is on his own by turntables, while RUDice is a bigger fan of ex-TSR and it’s Frankie J, Scrubfish & Laurence, D-t3ch, Joey Youngman etc what may mean that you will hear more breaks and melodies than straight beats bumpin’.In few words this is it what you should know about us, for questions or contacts you can write e-mails at rudais[et]soulnmovement.lv or info[et]soulnmovement.lv. You are welcome with your opinions and coments at the guestbook, follow the monthly chart updates and try to find yourself in the Picture gallery.. Have a great day!gigya{}.pmp_info{ Generated at http://www.Pimp-My-Profile.com/ }
