Years back Brett had a production company in Dallas Texas called Houston Imagery Productions (1987-1994) and did commercial photography, audio and video work for clients like FOX (On The Line, Monday Night Sports, Hot Tickets, US Country on The Road, Nochas Latinos), CBS (Dallas Cowboys football) , The Movie Channel (Joe Bob Brigg's Drive-In News), Bank One, Runner Triathlete News and Health and Fitness Magazine. He also worked as associate producer for a few shows for Fox's mid-day talk show "On The Line".
In 1994 Brett moved to Paris France to concentrate on music.
In Paris, after studying with a various composers, he started a group called Midnite Radio, (an eclectic, acoustic rock trio, which would later become Zwol's Mob).
The group enjoyed a small but enthusiastic following, performing throughout Europe and the US. They released a few independant recordings and were featured on various radio programs as well as MCM, Europes best music video channel..
He began a solo career after the group self destructed during a torrid US tour.
Brett is now in Los Angeles working as a film composer/songwriter, he occasionally plays with his unique jazz group,
The ZumaCats
Additionally, he enjoys working as music director for Vista Del Mar, a treatment center/school for "special needs" teens. Recently, Sheila E and Lynn Mabry's foundation, Elevate Hope (http://elevatehope.org/) made Vista's music program a beneficiary and are working together to renovate the studio with some shiny new equipment.
Brett recently created "SoniScape", a natural sound masking track. SoniScape was designed to combat noise pollution by masking out noises, such as loud ass noisy neighbors, construction, traffic etc, and create a peaceful, natural background to allow you to sleep or work without distraction. You can get more info atNoisePollutionSolution.com
Aside from music he enjoys mountain biking, snowboarding, backpacking, practical jokes, fixing stuff he's broken, cloud spotting, eating mysterious things found in the fridge, beach volleyball, throwing water balloons at tourists, talking to strangers, spontaneous road trips, 4x4 adventures, climbing stuff, kayaking, mattress sports, or anything else that creates adrenaline.
Brett hopes one day to put together a tactical "A" team to hunt down and destroy Osama Bin Laden, obviously those we have elected to do this task have failed us miserably. Looking for a few volunteers..........
