Cali Currency is Babine Badabing and Sicx-AKA Asri Heat........Two cats from Long Beach Cali....Grew up together, through thick and thin...Still grinding.....Basically we do this for the love of hip-hop as a whole, love of the music, love for our city, fans and family. We consider our music Life Music because all we have is life experience......We figure if we feel our shit and spit about what the fuck is going on, what were going through, been through and will go through, others are gonna have to feel it to cuz we all got the same story, just see it from different eyes at different times you know....We know everyone goes through ups and downs and we want them to know that they aint the only ones. Real recognize Real and we keep it 100% Real, all day.Babine Badabing doing it big making fire ass beats....Samples, original beats and its all heat..He Grew up on 5th and Golden in Long Beach Cali and Sicx grew up just 7 blocks away from him on 10th and chestnut, just to snotty nose kids with a love for music, dislike for authority growing up on the wrong side of the tracks.....funny shit is, they met in Jr High and didnt even really know it....hahaha, Bines use to catch the Bus to Stephens Middle School at Washington Middle School, where Sicx was and they use to see each other every morning, not really knowing who the fuck the other was....then they both ended up going to Poly High together, becoming more the best homies, they became brothers, ride or die together. Bines knew Sicx was on some hip hop shit from day one. Already rappin and freestylin since about 10 years old....at the time, Bines didn't even have as much as a beat machine, but they would always talk about the day he would make beats and Sicx would spit to them.Babine Badabing started off as a DJ and which is a major influence in his musical depth....Listen to everything from Jay-Z to Al Green and everything in between. This is a major part of his beat making creativity cuz he drops samples others wouldnt even consider lookin into which only benefits their music complementing Sicx's ability to spit the type of shit he does .The two always knew they would one day do this music thing for real and make there mark...well, that day is here and they are doing it big....Reppin the West Coast in a different way....They are here to show the world the West Coast is so much more then the world thinks, they are going to change the face of music and leave an imprint on this earth big enough for God to see from the heavens.....Life Music, lyrical content about growing up in the hood, livin the day to day struggles of a ghetto child to a grown man......but they are even more then that, they are Born Ready for anything......Cali Currency, two muthafuckas destined to be bigger then any one coast, we rep every hood on every block in ever city in every country.......Ride with us,,,,,,,BORN READY FAMILY
