I am here for Friends

About Me

If you put something glittery or sparkly in my comments, it will be removed and I will hurt you.I enjoy being in nature and try to camp as much as possible. When I say camping I mean sitting somewhere pretty and relaxing, not climbing mountains or challenging myself physically. I also try to travel as often as I can. I just love going places. I even enjoy air travel (as long as there's a good bar at the airport). I have an addiction to excitement and I tend to do everything I do in a big way.I tend to get a bit too passionate about things I like and I'm not big on self restraint. I really enjoy the bubbly. I love photographing clouds and playing pranks on people. I have a shameful addiction to reality television, I'm obsessed with collecting perfume and I can't stop adding to my cookbook collection.**I love gaming (pc, consol, whatever). Not surprisingly, I love spending time with my friends, going to shows, hitting the town, etc. I really love having people over and entertaining with food and drink. I overly love my pets, they're almost too important...almost. I love my family and especially my two insanely adorable nephews. I'm really a love junky. I also like to use the word love alot. I try to have love for everyone, even if I don't like them (if that makes sense). I'm slow to make friends, but once I do, they're friends for life. I'm extremely loyal in friendship and I forgive easily. I always try to understand where the other person is coming from, what is motivating them to act the way they do and what their intentions are. I'm not a spiteful or vengeful person, but I really am bothered by people who act maliciously toward others and I do have thirst for justice. Not justice as in I need to get even, more justice in the sense that they are accountable for their actions. I think guilt is a useless emotion unless you've purposefully done something to harm another. If you have, channel the guilt into making things right, if it was inadvertent get over it. I say this as someone who grew up with a nasty guilt complex! My Kiersey type is INFJ, the counselor (if you know that that means). Politically I have socialistic ideals and viewpoints and I try to "do good" in my daily life. I'm a libra with a pisces ascendant and gemini moon. I try not to be judgemental of others, but I tend to go overboard with judging myself. In some areas of my life I'm a perfectionist (work)..in others not so much (cleaning). I currently work as an office manager for an interior plant company. It has become substantially more interesting since I took over the role of "color designer", which basically means that I get to play with orchids, plants and containers to make neato arrangements (see www.creativeplant.com under the color creations tab for some of my early work...I'm much more adept now). Eventually my goal is to work in the mental health field, either as a counselor or as a psychologist. I just have to deal with what whole working on my education thing, but at least I've finally figured out what I was to do with my life. It certainly took me long enough!I am continually looking to grow, experience different things and evolve into someone better. I believe there is a lesson to be learned in every situation and encounter. I enjoy creating run-on sentences. I grew up in Torrance and Redondo Beach, but now I'm in San Jose(the 10th largest city in the U.S...who would know?). I'm not a fan of San Jose. When I moved here in 2000 I was only planning on staying for a year or two. I guess my job has kept me here all this time, but who knows where my path will take me.
I edited my profile with Thomas Myspace Editor V3.6 !
