About Me

WARNING: It's important to know that I perceive this world a little differently. This will often result in me being seen as eccentric, absent minded, socially inept and a little awkward. (But sometimes brilliant... ;-)
I occasionally have obsessive routines and at any moment may be unusually preoccupied with a random subject of interest (clearly, MySpace being one of them). I have a great deal of difficulty reading non-verbal cues. Sometimes, I feel like I'm plagued by unfortunate misunderstandings.
Some would say I lack spontaneity; those are the people I always tend to surprise.
'Geek chic' describes my manner and my style. My vocabulary is extraordinarily rich. I'm occasionally vexed by a puzzling inability to modulate the volume of my voice. I know a LOT of people, but I have a select few friends that I would do anything for and I'm sure would do anything for me.
(Editor's Note: This profile has NOT been proven entirely accurate; MySpace can not be held responsible for any misrepresentations contained within.)

My Interests

Film. Also: The Arts, Enlightenment, and the Humanities.

I'd like to meet:

Whoever. Just be able to talk about anything, everything or nothing at all and we'll get along just fine.

Music:

Common, Muse, Jeff Buckley, Al Green, Otis Redding, Stevie Wonder, Ben Harper, Gomez, K-os, Kanye West, Rage Against the Machine, John Legend, Lauryn Hill, OutKast, Radiohead, Stereolab, Sigur Ros, Van Hunt, etc...

Movies:

Just a smattering of my favorites: The Big Chill, The Godfather, Shaun of the Dead, American Beauty, Saving Private Ryan, Shawshank Redemption, It's A Wonderful Life, The Christmas Story, The Dark Crystal, The Neverending Story.

Television:

The Simpsons, Seinfeld, Taxi, Cheers, Frasier, Lost, The Family Guy, anything written by Joss Whedon, and The News Hour w/ Jim Leher. Or anything that might be on PBS, Discovery, or The Learning Channel / History Channel.

Books:

The Fountainhead, Lamb, Abraham, The Alchemist, and Ishmael. I'm also intrigued by any major religious scriptures; including but not limited to: the Koran, the Torah, or the Gospels. (Just finished: Getting On Message, edited by Rev. Peter Laarman.)

Heroes:

Does Howard Roark count? He doesn't exist, seeing that he's a fictional character and all... But a hero none-the-less. Oh, and the two great Martin Luthers (the 14th century rebel Catholic AND the Jr. King).
