"OPTIONS" EP AVAILABLE TO BUY NOW

Portal's new EP "Options" is now available in shops and directly from us, priced at £5.00 including postage to anywhere in the world. The four-track CD features vocal contributions from Glen Johnson of Piano Magic/Future Conditional, Angèle David-Guillou of Klima/Piano Magic, Ben Holton of Epic45/My Autumn Empire, and Lorraine Lelis, ex-Mahogany. All of the tracks were co-written with the collaborators.
Tracks:
1. Options
2. You're Building Over My Childhood
3. Slow Burner
4. Options - Future Conditional remix
"Immediate and renewed with a radiant pop sensibility... utterly beguiling and humbling. A gem." (Losingtoday)
“A surprisingly commercial move but (one that) works beautifully, invoking those classic electro 12" dance mixes that would rock the Hacienda to the break of dawn throughout the late 80s... takes Portal's recorded output to new heights. Recommended.” (Norman Records)
“Wow. As generic as it sounds, that's the only thing I thought the second the music started on Portal's "Options EP". If you're into dark and modern pop you must own this now. Every track is flawless. Highly recommended. I am just floored by this release.” (Everything is Chemical)

BIOGRAPHY
Over the last 13 years, Portal have released a series of singles and albums on a variety of independent labels, most notably Make Mine Music, the label co-founded by Portal main man Scott Sinfield. Portal's music won early support from legendary DJ John Peel, for whom a BBC radio session was recorded in 2000, and has received acclaim from the likes of The Guardian, the NME and DJ Magazine.
Portal returned from an extended hiatus in November 2008 with their first new material in over three years, an exclusive track on Make Mine Music's "MMM050" compilation, which was followed in March 2009 by a new 4-track EP "Options", written and recorded with several new collaborators. The new tracks show another evolutionary shift, something that has perhaps become something of a trademark of Portal's music over the years.
