Alive dead or ficticious? Batman, Aesop rock-I've gotta know the rest of the story, Alan Rickman, Ernest Hemingway-Whom I'm sure is my constant drinking companion, Sting, Nightcrawler & Gambit, Mercutio, Oscar Wilde, Cillian Murphy, David Bowie-the goblin king :) Terry Pratchett, That one person. And this guy
Parting Thought:
"I can see every monster as they come in."
Sting, Del the Funkee Homosapien, Aesop Rock, Frank Sinatra, Beethoven-Oh bliss! Bliss and heaven! , Al Green, Atmosphere, Chopin, The Cure, Dashboard Confessional, David Bowie, Luciano Pavarotti, the Doors, El-P, Eminem, Beirut, Live, Marvin Gaye, Mc Chris, Michael Jackson, the Misfits, My Chemical Romance, Pink Floyd, the Police, Radiohead, Rahzel, Robbie Williams, the Rolling Stones, Siouxsie and the Banshee's, Spiritualized, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Tom Waits, Tori amos, U2, Against Me!, Acid Bath, Clap your hands say yeah, The decemberists, Pagliaccio, Carmen, Bright Eyes, Mos Def, and about a hundred million more I'm too lazy to type in
I have a regular rotation. I'm not sure if these can be called favorite movies anymore than your friends can be called your favorite people. My friends aren't always my favorite people. Anyway, this is that rotation. It, Spirited Away, Sleepy Hollow, Shaolin Soccer, Howl's Moving Castle, Equilibrium, Shaun of the Dead, The Jane Austin Movies (Yeah, I'm a girl, big whoop, wanna fight about it?), Rocky, Rocky 2, Rocky 3, A Tale of Two Sisters -I could listen to the intro song from this movie all day, every day, and be happy, Versus- the veritable creme de la creme of cheesy kung fu movies, Aliens (Game over man! Game over! Bill Paxton is a minor diety), The Cat Returns, The Nightmare Before christmas, The Neverending Story, Labyrinth, Finding Nemo, Legend, The Exorcist, The Princess Bride, BeetleJuice, Lost Boys. But as I said, this is just a list of what is playing at any givin time in my house. If I had to name an absolute favorite, I'd say Gladiator, Romeo and Juliet, or What Dreams May Come. If you value your emotional stability, don't watch Gladiator with anyone, Turn off Romeo and Juliet just before Mercutio dies, don't watch what dreams may come with anyone you don't love, and for the love of god and all that is holy, don't watch Grave of the Fireflies.
Family guy, gilmore girls
Anything by: Terry pratchett, Ray Bradbury, Now I have dreams in HP Lovecraft vision...and I like it. Oscar wilde is someone the world will never see the likes of again, ad we're the lesser for it. Ernest Hemmingway is still undefeated. "To Reign in Hell" by Steven Brust is the best book I've ever read, hands down. "The Alienist" by Caleb Carr is a great read, but only if you enjoy history and understand 2 dollar words, his sequel "angel of darkness" is good, but not as good. Kurt Vonnegut is awesome, and Herman Melville is completley underrated despite his intensley beautiful prose. I love the classics, in case you couldn't tell, and will pretty much read any book unless it's by Dan brown..or danielle steele, or any of the other nine million hack writers storming the literary universe. Oh, and I hate Chuck Palalaladingdong. Deal with it.
