Professional, emerging, amateur and student independent South Australian filmmakers have combined their talents to produce the digital feature film: ‘Heroes Crossing’. The film is due for a internet and DVD release in the summer of 2008.
The film is a comic book-docu-action film
The Director summarizes the story:
"An alien dictator discovers the Erebus Crystals, an infinite power source that safe keeps and balances the entire cosmos, and manipulates these crystals to end all reality for self preservation. The story is intertwined with notions from individuals opinions."
The production has brought together very talented individuals that have and are well on the way to establishing themselves in their chosen careers. Will McDonald (Robin) is a journalist and Channel Nine newsreader; Lisa McKaskil (Invisible Woman) is a channel Nine personality who regularly appears on Postcards and commercials; James Harkness (co-writer and production manager) is a feature film director - currently completing Birthday; Tere Lee is a model/actress; Sophie Callea is a model/singer; and the list goes on and on. ‘Heroes Crossing’ has been in production for quite some time, and amendments have been made due to technological change in our society. Proposals for this film has launched several other films, but finally this film will be available on DVD.

’Heroes Crossing’ is an Indie feature film and it is aimed at a global internet market including a DVD release distributed nationally and internationally. It would wet the appetite of audiences who appreciate super hero genre films. This is also the first film to focus and have several live action heroes that have appeared in media, comic books and computer games.
