Formed early in the new millenium from the ashes of 3 very different bands, Second Sunset have had a strange ride through the last eight or so years. Line-up changes and "musical differences" haven't managed to stifle the old beast just yet.
Their first gig was in a Battle-of-the-bands competition and, despite their collective nervousness, they managed to win. Resulting in a write-up in the local press.
A further victory in a more prestigious B.o.t.B competition set them on the road to, of all places, Crewe. A smattering of dates around Merseyside gained the band a little recognition in the St.Helens area.
A departed guitarist and a replacement keyboard player saw the band embrace new territory and rework some old favourites only do be disbanded once and for all...Or were they?
2008 sees them rehearsing once more with the original line-up for who knows how many gigs...watch this space.
