About Me

My name is Chris Tomaloff. If it's drums, then it's me...
I love the fact that when people ask me "what do you do?", i get to tell them that I make a living playing the drums. I'm not a claims adjustor, i don't sell anything (besides my time), I don't have a boss, I don't have a lunch-break... i love it. I just drum.
OK... So I keep pretty busy. Teaching private lessons in Kenosha @ Stolfe's Portside Percussion, and in Antioch, IL at Antioch Music keeps me going 4 days a week. My weekends are devoted to Kilties Drum & Bugle Corps of Racine, WI as not only a performer, but also as one of the show designers. I have the honor of being the Front Ensemble arranger and educator. I used to perform quite regularily with the Racine Symphony, but my lesson schedule now interferes with rehearsals. In the fall and early spring, I teach a Kenosha-based indoor drumline called The Kenosha Beats. (Last year was our first year out in competition and we didn't do too shabby!) Last but not least, I work 3 mornings a week at Pinoccio's Restaurant in Racine. This is to pay off the loan that bought my brand spankin new 5-octave Yamaha marimba. It's not the greatest job in town, but i never forget what it's paying for.
For information regarding Kenosha Beats Percussion Ensemble or private lessons, please EMAIL ME . For information on the Kilties Drum and Bugle corps, please visit The Kilties Official Website , The Kilties Myspace Site , or again, EMAIL ME . Enjoy my site and be sure to leave a message/add me!
