Milwaukee based rappers Arcane and Young Focused make up the alternative rap group, The Cranberry Show. It is obvious Arcane and Young Focused is what they rap about, and they do not rap about what they are not. Stage presence, wit and a desire to entertain are necessities to make it in the music industry and The Cranberry Show has it. With tracks like "Pants Sag" and "Must Be A Poser" these guys from the fourth coast have charisma. Focused brings the unique sound of his high pitched rapping voice and humorous rhymes, while Arcane adds his more smooth and sarcastic flow to tracks. Influenced by Jay-Z, Lupe Fiasco, The Beatles, Jimmy Hendrix, Johnny Cash, Rakim, Biggie Smalls and Joe Budden, The Cranberry Show is trying to prove that you can get respect without being like everyone else. Focused realizes that suburban kids can be lyrically adept more than kids from the “hoodâ€. He believes that kids from the suburbs are not respected as emcees because they are not talking about guns, drugs or car rims. Calling himself “Revenge of the ‘burbsâ€, Focused represents the children who want to express themselves in the hip hop culture but are over looked for their lifestyles. Arcane wants our generation to understand “you don’t have to judge yourself on what everyone isn’t.†Arcane or Sir McFresh as many call him wants to show people can find a tactic that will cause them to become better than where they are from, and make people respect you for who you are.
