Cinco De Copas is a blend of latin musical styles mixed with the modern sounds from rock, pop, and blues meshed together by rhythmic latin grooves. This unique mix of styles from mariachi and “los trios†music with the energy of rock, pop, blues, and rich latin beats with old school chord arrangements, envelops you as a story unfolds around you with each song.
Patricio Bracamonte, who grew up in the world of Mariachi and Trios, brings a unique blend of rhythms from mariachi music and the melancholy lyrical content of Trio music. A strong and down to earth voice blends well to create this unique style.
Jose Durazo brings a masterful sense of improvisation, melody and intertwining lines on woodwinds providing a complementary sound to Patricio’s vocals. His vast knowledge in music makes him the handyman providing any instrumentation needed.
The Miller brothers (Rudy, Bobby, and Ronny), along with Jose, grew up playing the popular latin music present on the U.S. and Mexico border including Tex-Mex, Norteño, and popular dance music including the sounds of rock, blues and pop of the 80’s.
From mariachi to “los triosâ€, to styles motivated by such greats as Santana, five old friends, brothers really, have come together to present Cinco de Copas. Tasty grooves and lush chords envelop you as a story unfolds around you with each song. It is brought to you by five brothers in music who went their separate paths over time and reunite here after many years and many experiences.
