Peroxide Blue

Peroxide Blue started back in the year 2000 when Néja and her best friend Laura decided to form a band. Writing unbelievable amounts of terrible lyrics whilst learning to play their instruments they recruited their first guitarist Katie Hodgson, by this time Laura and Néja had actually gained some talent. Craig Hall (now known for Forgotten and Fall and Run) was then called upon as their first drummer, things didn't work out as his other band got in the way but P.Blue discovered that their long time friend had picked up some skills behind the kit, thus Tom McGauley became the next band member.Their first gig was played without Katie (she was on holiday) at the Queen's Hall Studio as a 'Fused' band performing under the title 'Dementia' doing a couple of Placebo and Misfits covers plus their first original song 'Liar'. A couple of gigs followed such as the Halton Show and other Fused gigs.Shortly after these gigs a fabulous talent was discoveredMichael J Brookfield, the fantastic voice of Noahs Arcade (formally known as 3am). Néja stepped down from the mic and the attention was brought to Michael, and during his membership Peroxide Blue emerged. However, after only two gigs, one Fused with Twiggy standing in on bass and the other supporting Zombina and the Skeletones, Michael decided to leave the band, so Néja stepped back up to sing.After a few months Katie and Laura left the band and Tom and Néja recruited JD as the new bassist, bringing an amazing image to our stage performance. A new drummer was found a few months later as Tom was all set to stand up to the front of the stage to become the multi-talented member playing guitar, keyboards and even the saxophone, but this was never witnessed live as he decided to leave the band.Left to be a three-piece was then Néja, JD and the fabulously talented Daz...practicing went on, they began to record some demos, did a few more gigs then appeared to died for a while. And now they're about to emerge again with another addition to the line up....Mr Liam Nicholson is taking on the keyboards and bass for the band. Now with Jack Stanley on Guitars......br
