Hi,my name is Jon.I started singing since i was 14 and till now this is my main passion.Talkin'of passions i'm obsessed with singing and writing lyrics and poems.Through the past years,I was the main vocalist for many bands with different sounds.My first band ever was ''Sunrisers'' with John Kofos on the guitar and Tassos Pandis on the drums,formed in 1999.We were playing some kind of high speed N.W.O.B.H.M. with a really jazzy drumming.After two rears of practicing and rehearsing,we decided to stop for many diferrent reasons each.Later in May of 2001 I found 4 great guys(Grigoris:lead guitar,Danis:rhythm guitar,Michael:bass guitar and Nikos on drums)pretty accidentally!Danis and I had a common friend who took a listen of a couple of Iron Maiden covers I had at the time(Wasted years and Deja vu)and he got me in touch with Danis.All the rest is just history.We named the band ''Tribe in decay''and we were more into progressive/heavy metal.We made several songs of our own and many cover songs of Queensryche,Iron Maiden,Rainbow,Scorpions,etc.But after one year and a half of playing together in small clubs and many glorious moments to be shared with them,we decided to stop.The main reason was that some of the guys were tired of the situation that our music direction was leading us to nowhere.That was another pity ending...After Tribe in decay were history I met Loukas,a fuckin'crazy drummer who had formed a cover band named Under the Volcano.We played a few times but due to some personal problems that I had at the time I left the band.In May of 2007 I joined the power metal band Secret Illusion.With the boys we played for over a year and I have the best memories from them and that's why we're still friends.Right now i'm singing and writing for my band ''BLACK SWAN''doing my first steps in composing and recording,along with Orestis and Kostas Dimpelas in heavy/prog metal style.This is just my personal page.You can visit my band's page at www.myspace.com/blackswanband and check it out.In 3 March i joined the band Crusade of Steel a greek heavy metal band full of Iron Maiden influences!!!Check us out at www.myspace.com/crusadeofsteel Stay heavy!!!
